Jen, Daryl and Natalie | A Month of Mom

This past Spring, myself and the amazing Jess Anderson teamed up to help one lucky mama feel beautiful just in time for Mother's Day. Because sometimes moms don't get the appreciation they deserve, and I know that many moms don't take the time to get in photos with their kids. That is something I believe firmly in because as a mom myself, I know how important is is to be present for your children.We asked for nominations, and received so many wonderful stories about the most amazing moms. The person we chose is a special mom of a beautiful daughter. She wanted family photos because she didn't have any recent photos of their whole family. The perfect reason to pick her!I felt lucky to be able to give her some new photos and to spend an afternoon with them. Natalie is an energetic and bubbly little girl and she was so much fun to take photos of! She brought her bike along to their session, as well as her favourite book to read. Then we spent some time exploring my favourite old farm and playing in the grass together. We even lucked out and got some amazing storm clouds as a backdrop.This session is so special to me because I know that if we hadn't done this they may not have these photos otherwise. Now they have these beautiful images and some fun memories to look back on.
