Only five weeks (or less, or more) to go! Where has the time gone? I am feeling ready to have this baby, but also sort of sad to have the pregnancy end. Even though I have been complaining about aches and pains and being tired, I know deep down that all those things are just inconveniences.
As I sit here writing this, our baby girl is wiggling in my belly. She can’t have much room in there! Every movement reminds me of how lucky we are to have this gift. She is our rainbow baby and I am already in love with her.
This past month has been hectic, sometimes stressful and sometimes exhausting. Between working, taking photos, moving and our daughter starting pre-K, we’ve been busy. Plus, getting ready for baby of course. But her room is ready for her, the drawers are stocked with clothes and our hospital bags are (mostly) packed. I’m starting to get nervous about delivery, but I’m putting my trust in my body and the doctors because I know it will happen as it is supposed to.
Most of all I’m excited. To meet this baby, for Sofia to be a big sister and to start a new adventure. I am scared to death too, but that’s normal, isn’t it?
