I’m a little late posting this update, but it’s been busy around here!
While we were on our family holiday to Newfoundland, where both my husband and I grew up, I snuck in a few belly photos for my photo journal. I found a piece of driftwood that I thought was close to the size that baby was that week ;)
Travelling while pregnant was a whole new experience for me. It wasn’t terrible, but it was hard sitting in those cramped seats and my back told me so later. For future reference, Air Canada doesn’t give any special treatment to pregnant women! But I had my travel pillow, snacks and music so I was as comfortable as I could be.
Our visit was busy but lots of fun. My little brother got married, and I got to be a bridesmaid. I danced the night away with my family, which is something that only happens when someone gets married – and there are only two of us so not sure if that will happen even again! I paid for that the next day but it was totally worth it.
We sat on the beach and threw rocks in the ocean, visited all the family and friends we could, ate a LOT of food and had tons of naps. It was glorious! I’m planning to do a post later with some of my favourite photos from our trip, so stay tuned for that.
As for baby, she is wiggling a lot these days (and kicking, and rolling over and doing pirouettes lol), especially early in the morning and late at night of course. I love that feeling though, and I’m going to miss it when it’s over. I can’t believe how fast time is going. I’m not even close to being ready for the little girl’s arrival (we haven’t even picked a name yet!). Soon, all the aches and pains and exhaustion will be over and I’ll be experiencing new things.
