“I spent the last week in Vegas. It was my first time there, and boy was it an experience! This was taken from the top of the High Roller observation wheel. I have never seen or experienced anything like the sights, sounds smell and pure craziness that is this city.
This is the first time I am using a photo shot with my iPhone and I kind of feel like I’m breaking the rules, but I love the effect of my fisheye lens. It distorts reality, just like Vegas does.”
Las Vegas made me look at the work differently. I realized that there is so much more outside of the little town I live in. Perspective is really important to a photographer. I need to always be able to look at things differently. If you don’t see things from different angles, life gets boring and so do your photographs.
Our vacation was not a long one, but it will stick with me for a long time. I want to see more, go more places, experience more of the world. Because every experience changes your perspective just a little bit.
