Here is another family whose photos I have been taking for a while. I first took maternity photos for Michelle and Kevin when she was pregnant with their second boy Carter. That was a fun session because we took some shots out in the snow at the Winter Wonderland at Lovett Park. Then, Preston and Carter came for a tea party at my Sweet Spring Sessions in 2012.
So I was super excited when Michelle booked me to take their family photos now, as they have a new addition – little Riley. And even better, she invited me out to their home in Milden. So I got to visit a new place and take photos in their beautiful yard and at the Milden elevator.
I won’t lie and say that the boys were perfect models. They were busy and wanted to play. But I let them and just chased them around, trying to get them laughing and having fun. I am so pleased with how these images turned out because they are REAL. Every shot isn’t perfectly posed, but they show a family playing together, enjoying each other and loving each other.
